Today I went to “The Taste of the Timberwolves” with my roommate Krista.
I don’t watch basketball (or anything you have to pay for), so I didn’t know who the players were. So, naturally, I was just my awkward self with everyone. My favorite player was Gorgui Dieng (yes I had to look up the spelling, as I was calling him “G” for convenience). He was really nice–even served chicken at our booth–and his wife gave me a mini french lesson that I forgot instantly (too much free wine). Anyways the event was a blast. Since we were working off a pretty good buzz already, we headed downtown to the bars afterward.
It was a little snowy.
